McGregor crossed the line - again

Daniel Cormier is among the closest people to Khabib Nurmagomedov – and that is the reason why did a former UFC champion place a call to see him, after seeing what Conor McGregor recently posted.

Conor McGregor took aim at Dustin Poirier in numerous tweets which were later deleted, talking about the results of their UFC 264 encounter where he suffered a broken leg at the end of the first round.

However, McGregor didn't stop there, as he also trashed Nurmagomedov for a separate message he has sent after the Irish superstar lost in the battle. After Poirier's victory, Nurmagomedov tweeted, saying that good always defeats evil and that he's happy for Dustin Poirier.

It took some time for Conor to respond but he then wrote 'COVID is good and father is evil?' – aiming at Nurmagomedov's father who lost his life after complications related to COVID-19. McGregor quickly deleted the tweet but still, the damage was done as Nurmagedov already saw it.

He was shocked when he saw that and said that Conor crossed the line. Conor also received a lot of criticism lately because of his trash talk and insults aimed at families of his opponents, like the ones aimed at Poirier's wife. He might be doing it in the heat of the moment and for media attention but he definitely needs to have some boundaries.
