Is Payton Turner coming back?

Payton Turner has made it clear he is ready to return. This player who was also the first-round pick for the Saints had an injury problem that affected his plans with the New Orleans Saints. In other words, he finished his first year in reserve for the injured.

Payton underwent shoulder surgery in November 2021. The Saints could hardly wait to hear the news that one of the most important players is returning to the field soon. Furthermore is a positive turnaround for the club.

Payton Turner was selected in the first round as the 28th and was with the Saints during the first eight weeks of the season. He was inactive three times and played in five games collecting a sack and 12 tackles. The last game he played was on the 7th of November against the Atlanta Falcons. In that game in 17 snaps tallied three tackles. He then had to miss the rest of the season due to a shoulder injury.

This 24-year-old player will be a valuable addition to the Saints. Since he doesn’t have much experience, Payton will certainly have to learn a lot more. Now he has a great opportunity to finally leave the best impression as was planned before the injury.
