Asif Ali might be banned from the rest of the tournament

The former chief executive of the Afghanistan cricket board (ACB) Shafiq Stanikzai has lashed out at the Pakistan batter Asif Ali for his actions during the Asia Cup 2022 Super Four match that was held at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. On September 7 in Wednesday, Pakistan has beaten Afghanistan by just one wicket and booked their path to the final of the tournament to be played this week.

Aside from Pakistan, there is also Sri Lanka which is qualified by eliminating India and Afghanistan. At the moment, Asif Ali is concerned that during the match, we will witness the heated exchange of words with Afghan fast bowler Fareed Ahmad Malik. Asif was seen raising his bat and swinging it in the direction of the speedster right after the other players and umpires on the field ran to intervene.
