The new NBA star broke records on his debut

The NBA Summer League has begun, and one of the most anticipated new players made a memorable debut and broke several records. Chet Holmgren, who was selected second in the draft by the Oklahoma City Thunder, scored 23 points with seven rebounds, four assists, and six blocks in the 98:77 victory over Uto and hit four three-pointers in six attempts.

He became the first player in Summer League history who manage to make at least five blocks and three three-pointers in the same game, showing his unusual versatility that has made him so highly rated. The six shutouts are also a Summer League record.

After a match, he asked about that record. It was strange for him that this was the record. So, he decided that he needs to come back and broke the record again.

Holmgren is a 20-year-old center 216 cm tall but weighs less than 90 kilograms, which is why he looks like a twig next to established NBA players. But due to his extremely long arms and excellent mobility, he is an excellent blocker even at this early stage of his career, and he makes up for his lack of strength by playing further from the basket and with a soft outside shot.

We can find a lot about his confidence in his answer to a question he received two months ago about who is the best player in the NBA. "Me in two months," he said without hesitation.
