How well do you know Juan Soto?

Juan Soto is a professional baseball player who plays as an outfielder. He signed for the Washington Nationals in 2015 as a free agent. He first played in MLB in 2018 and was a runner-up for the rookie of the year award. A year later he was one of the most important players of the Nationals ’first World Series championship, and in 2020 he won the National League title with an average of 351.

Juan is a native of the Dominican Republic. His father was a catcher in the local league and encouraged his son to start playing baseball and to become his passion over time. It is clear how his father succeeded in this because Juan is today one of the most famous players to whom only the sky is the limit.

Juan Soto signed for the Nationals in April 2015 to have a professional debut a year later competing in the Gulf Coast League after completing 32 runs and after hitting 368 including five home runs.

In September 2016, he was promoted to Auburn Doubleday's Class A, and after playing six games for Doubleday, he finished the 2016 season with an overall average of 32 RBI and five home runs. The following year he played with the Hagerstown Suns Class A. During the rookie season, he became known for his incredible adaptable options. Although in 2019 he was a finalist for the Gold Glove Award as a left fielder, Juan hinted that he could also play as a right fielder.
