The Miami Dolphins said goodbye to one player

The Miami Dolphins have decided to start preparations with some changes in the team. In other words, it's time to say goodbye to Sony Michel. The former Patriots player who signed with the Miami Dolphins as a free agent in May has been released from the club.

Although during his career he won two Super Bowls with 845 yards, Sony Michel never got a real opportunity with the Miami Dolphins. His rushing line of 13 yards on nine carries certainly didn't help him. However, Sony was limited in training due to health reasons and was inconsistent while playing for Miami.

The Miami Dolphins owe Sony $850,000 on a one-year, $2.1 million contract. Sony ran for 3,137 yards and 18 TDs over four seasons in the NFL and was one of the most important players in the club's victory in Super Bowl LIII. However, injuries diverted him from his path and he could not develop further as he had planned.

Before playing in the NFL, Sony played football at the University of Georgia before being selected in the first round of the 2018 NFL draft by the New England Patriots. He spent three seasons in the New England Patriots and scored one touchdown.
