One of the best records in NL since 2007

Behind the Mets is one of the games they will surely remember for a long time. The Mets have managed to complete one of the amazing series they have had lately. The player who stood out the most was Adonis Medina.

It was Adonis who had his first career save in a game where Buck Showalter used Diaz during the eighth inning, but not the ninth inning where the Mets won for the first time in 15 years. They fell behind at Dodger Stadium during the eighth inning where a 5-4 victory gave them the best record in the NL.

As much as they didn’t want to admit it, it was clear this series for the Mets would be a measuring stick. After the Mets gave up the first two games it was too early to draw any conclusions. But then the Mets won the final two.

That’s just one more proof of how good the Mets are, who are currently playing without a few important players, which posed a major threat to falling in the standings. Instead, that team finished the game in Los Angeles with the second-best record in the Majors, mostly thanks to players like Adonis Medina, Trevor Williams, and Nick Plummer.
